Why Cats and insulin pumps don't go together

Britney spent the night with a friend this weekend. Before continuing, i will say she is ok. She has spent the night with this girl many times but this time fell asleep with her pump out and normally it is in her pocket. This girl has cats and cats have a fascination with insulin pumps. We believe it's the insulin smell, anyway the pictures below tell the story. Britney called at 2:45 and below is what the cat had done to her pump!!!! Britneys blood sugar was high but came right back down thankfully and medtronic is going to replace the pump under the warranty, so we won't pay pay (enormous blessing considering it's a $5,000.00 piece of medical equipment). I just think it's crazy what a cat can do and had to share.

The two pictures at the bottom are the replacement pump and the one the cat destroyed side by side.
